Youth are welcome at all BCRS playing meetings and events! If you'd like to try us out you can come to your first meeting for free, then you can choose whether or not you want to become a member. Either way, you're welcome to use the website and contact us with any recorder-related questions you have.
Clubs
Fanfare Youth Recorder Club is a free group for young recorder players who want to connect with other recorder players their own age. Hosted by Peabody Conservatory students Teresa Deskur and Sara Shoja in collaboration with Amherst Early Music, FYRC will meet monthly online and be a place for middle and high school recorder players to meet, play, and talk all things recorder. Q&A with a professional recorder player each meeting! See a video message from Teresa and Sara here, and go to amherstearlymusic.org/fanfare to sign up and find more information.
