    Each week BCRS features a recorder soloist on ensemble by posting a live performance video. We strive to provide an interesting mix of styles from musicians all over the world. A new performance is uploaded every Sunday.

    Would you like to receive a link to the featured performance each week? If so, fill out the form below and you'll receive an email as soon as the new video is posted. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Suggest a Performance of the Week

If you would like to suggest a video, or if you'd like to have your own performance featured, please complete the form below. Here is the criteria:
  • The video should be of a live performance where the performers can be seen (this does not need to be a public performance)
  • The video should feature either a recorder soloist or an ensemble with at least one recorder player
  • The performers may be amateurs or professionals
  • The video should be a single work of music, no longer than 10 minutes (no full concerts)
  • We accept ANY style of music, classical, jazz, blues, modern, and yes, even recorder with electronics
  • This is a FULLY inclusive opportunity. We don't care where you are from, how old you are, or how you identify. You don't even need to be a BCRS member. Anyone may submit a request.
Please note that for variety's sake, we will only publish a particular piece, composer, and soloist/ennsemble once per year. To see what has already been published this year click here.
