From time to time, we receive requests about offers of financial support for the BC Recorder Society. This page provides information about charitable giving, and how your contribution will help the society meet its goals.
BC Recorder Society operates as a non-profit organization. However, as yet we are not registered as either a non-profit or a charitable organization, so we are unable to provide charitable receipts for any monetary donations.
BCRS' finances are managed by the Board Treasurer and financial statements are presented to the Board for approval on a monthly basis. Any member in good standing may view these statements by submitting a written request to the Treasurer.
Your contribution to the BC Recorder Society goes straight towards promoting the pleasures and skills of recorder playing and providing a resource for recorder players. Our expenses include, but are not limited to:
