Alaric Posey

Alaric Posey is a composer, teacher, recorder player, and conductor based in Vancouver, BC.

A former bassoonist, he earned a Bachelor's degree "with distinction" in Music Composition from the University of Calgary in 1993.

After exploring various fields, including archival work, he returned to music through the Highs & Lows choir, which he now conducts regularly. In addition to his work with Highs & Lows, Alaric occasionally steps in to conduct other choirs and monthly meetings with the BC Recorder Society.
