Benefits of Membership
When you join BCRS, you have access to our music library and you are welcome to play with us during our monthly meetings. There are opportunities to learn something new each month under our different guest conductors. You will receive our Monthly Newsletter which includes details about the next meeting and information on any upcoming Workshop. You are also eligible for member discounts at Prussin Music as well as at our Workshops.
Novice players
We encourage novice players to join in the monthly meetings and play as many notes as possible. Mentoring arrangements for new players are always on tap.
The Novice Ensemble is not currrently active. It is designed for players who are new to recorder and / or learning to play in a group. Novice players learn under the guidance of professional instructor from 7:30 to 8:30 during our monthly meetings, on the first Thursday of each month from September to April, and are warmly invited to join the rest of the group after 8.30. The Novice Ensemble may be revived; in the meanwhile, mentors are always available.

Novice Ensemble Membership - $50.00 (not available, 2012-2013)
Mentoring - no charge
Try us out - come to our next meeting as a guest and decide if you enjoy playing in an ensemble. There’s no charge to drop by, ask questions, request a mentor and have some fun.
